Originally founded by Ed and Marlene Friesen (Featured Below), the business has grown over the decades into a trusted name in outdoor wood furnaces and custom metalwork. Recently, the Berg family – Ryan and Peter (Pictured Left) – took over ownership, ensuring the same family-run charm and dedication to excellence that has been the foundation of Friesen Built for over 30 years.

At Friesen Built, we specialize in building the most durable and powerful outdoor wood furnaces in Canada, including “The Brute” – the largest furnace of its kind in the country. We are also proud to provide custom metalwork services, including painting, drilling, cutting, and delivering residential I-beams and unique projects like 3-point hitch attachments, scrapers, and bucket modifications. As a factory-direct business with currently no dealers, we work directly with our customers to provide top-quality products at affordable prices.
